LeAnn Rimes: 'I feel like I've had tape over my mouth for the past four years'

LeAnn Rimes has admitted that entering a rehabilitation facility was important to her because she wanted to embrace her 30s with a sense of 'realness'.

Speaking to The Boston Herald, the 'Can't Fight The Moonlight' hitmaker explained that she feels as though she has been forced to be quiet over the past few years, but wants to make up for that now after turning 30 in August:

"I had some wonderful times in my 20s, but your 20s are hard. It was a lot of learning experiences ... and a lot were thrown at me publicly. I was ready to embrace 30."

"I have felt like I've had a piece of tape over my mouth the last four years. I wanted to start the next 30 years of my life on a great foot."
