Leann Rimes has today denied ever having an eating disorder.

The country star, who checked into rehab last August to learn how to cope with anxiety, sparked rumours that she was struggling with anorexia when photos of her dramatic weight loss were posted online.

But the 30-year-old told The Wendy Williams Show that she’s never had an issue with food:

"I can honestly say, 100%, I've never had a problem with eating. Trust me. It was just stress, I mean I was really going through anxiety and stress and depression. That's what I was going through. It was just my body's way of dealing with it."

The ‘How Do I Live’ singer also revealed she is pleased with the positive response to her 11th studio album, 'Spitfire,' which was released in April:

"I've never had an album received like this, and I'm very humbled by the fact that people are getting it. Everybody's been super cool. My life has been one big country song!"
