Little Mix say receiving praise from the Spice Girls was "one of the best feelings ever"

Little Mix have revealed that being praised by the Spice Girls was one of the best moments of their career.

The female quartet have a lot of admirers and they can count the 90s pop group among them.

Speaking to Fault magazine, Perrie Edwards said that being plugged by the Spice Girls was probably the best praise they've received.

She said: "The Spice Girls have been really supportive of us, which is amazing because they were the best girl band in the world and we always looked up to them when we were younger. So to have their backing and their support is one of the best feelings ever."

Jade Thirlwall added: "The Backstreet Boys tweeted about how they loved our album."

Jesy Nelson commented: "They said they wanted to go on tour with us!"

Edwards meanwhile recently spoke out about female One Direction fans who may be jealous of her relationship with Zayn Malik. She said:

"When I was younger, and I found out Jesse McCartney had a girlfriend, I was heartbroken. I was like: 'Noooo!'. Then Dougie Poynter from McFly started seeing Frankie Sandford from The Saturdays and I was gutted. So I can relate, you’re a young girl with a crush on someone. You’re like: ‘Damn it!’."
