Girl band Little Mix have revealed that they were once in talks to tour with fellow 'X Factor' group One Direction although the plans were never cemented. 

Member Jesy Nelson told MTV News that while nothing is in the pipeline, they wouldn't turn such an opportunity down if it arose: "There was talks about it but it just clashed; we are so busy. And, god, they are really, really busy. But you never know though, but for now, no."

The girls will also return to the UK in order to kick off their headlining 'Salute' tour, which is set to begin on May 16, and Nelson explained that it will be bigger and better than previous concerts as it will be their own:

"I think with our own tour... we get to have tour outfits and stage production — it's gonna be, like, a million times more vamped up. We are so excited because we've worked so hard on our ideas and everything that we want and how we want it to be and the theme."
