Little Mix have confirmed plans to tour the US later this year.

The British girl group will bring their headline Salute Tour to the country in the autumn after supporting Demi Lovato earlier this year.

Only three dates have been confirmed so far, but more are expected to be announced soon.

The first shows to be revealed are due to take place in Grand Prairie, Phoenix and Wallingford in September and October.

Tickets will go on pre-sale from Thursday (March 27).

The first three announced dates are as follows:

• September 16 - Grand Prairie, TX Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie 
• September 19 - Phoenix, AZ Comerica Theatre
• October 4 - Wallingford, CT Toyota Presents the Oakdale Theatre
