Little Mix fear their accents won't be understood on US tour

Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall is worried that she won't be understood when the band go out on tour in North America.

The group recently supported Demi Lovato in the continent, but they will embark on a headline run later this year.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Thirlwall admitted that she has had to alter the way she speaks when in the US as a result of her accent. She said:

"I hope they can understand me. I've had to slow down my talking a bit and sound a bit more proper - even my name they don't understand.

"At radio stations hey call me Jeed because they can't get Jade."

The first date on the tour meanwhile is due to take place on September 10. Check out all the dates here.
