Simon Cowell believes Little Mix's next video is their best yet.

The girl group have been working recently on the promo clip for their song 'Salute', which comes off the 2013 album of the same name.

It seems the video has pleased the discerning Simon Cowell, with the Syco boss tweeting after plugging former X Factor star Ella Henderson:

"And I have just seen the new video for the next Little Mix single. I think it's their best one yet."

Little Mix replied to the comment by saying: "Thanks @SimonCowell :) can't wait for everyone to see! #SaluteVideo see you soon xx the girls xx."

The group meanwhile are due to head out on their UK and Ireland Salute tour from May 16.

The run is due to last until a date in Belfast on June 9.
