Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has revealed that she will be having a one-off wedding dress for her big day.

The ‘Salute’ singer is planning to tie the knot with her One Direction fiancé Zayn Malik later this year.

Perrie is hoping to make her wedding dress one to remember as she has set about designing it herself along with some help from one of her Little Mix band mates.

Speaking about her dream dress the blonde pop starlet told the Daily Mirror: “I definitely want long sleeves. I know exactly what I want, so I'm designing it and getting it made from scratch.”

She went on: “Not that I can draw…  I'm getting Jade [Thirlwall] to do it. She's going to draw it and I'm going to take it to somebody to make.”

Jade explained that she is well prepared to take on the job saying: “When I was little I used to constantly draw wedding dresses… I thought those massive puffy shoulders were really fashionable.”

As well as thinking about the details of her dress Perrie has also been giving some thought to the makeup look she will be going for when she walks down the aisle:

“'I'm gonna have natural makeup - not too natural. I don't want to be a natural Nancy… but nice, light eye shadow with a nude lip.”

The bride-to-be previously divulged that her bridesmaids will definitely not be wearing white dresses.
