Little Mix on maturing: 'We're always evolving and gaining new fans'

'Wings' hitmakers Little Mix have revealed that making the transition from winners of 'The X Factor' to international superstars happened because they're present and united in the decisions they make, and all have a similar vision for the band.

Songstress Jade Thirlwall explained to 103.3 AMP Radio that despite being put together by music mogul Cowell, they wanted to reclaim the group as their own so are constantly maturing and changing their sound and style to fit their personalities:

"From the get-go, when we first got put together, we knew what we wanted to be as a group, so it just kind of naturally happened I think, and with each album we get more mature, we get more r&b, and we get more and more fans.”

Leigh-Anne Pinnock then went onto add that reinvention is something they're all really excited about because it gives them the opportunity to grow within the constraints of their girl group: "I think the good thing about being in a girl band is that you can constantly evolve, like with style, with the music..and I think we’re just getting better and better.”

Back in May, the beauties opened up about their impending third studio album and Jesy Nelson admitted that they're finding it challenging because it's once again about pushing the boundaries:

"Well, I never thought we'd say it but we're actually finding this one quite hard. We know what we wanna do but we're in the early stages of it so it's still coming together. [It will be] kind of similar to [Salute], but even more cooler, and even more over the top with the production."
