Little Mix: 'It's offensive when photographers tell us to 'get closer and pretend you like each other''

'Salute' stars Little Mix have revealed that they are so close with each other that they're more like family and can't stand it when photographers ask them to 'pretend like they're friends' at photo shoots.

Speaking to 103.3 AMP radio recently, the beauties opened up about their friendships with each other and Jesy Nelson explained that they all have a really solid bond: "People get so shocked, it's so funny... even our dancers... they're like, 'we've never met a girl group that gets on as well as you do - you don't even argue or bicker, or anything like that'.

Songstress Leigh-Anne Pinnock chimed in and described her bandmates as being like sisters rather than just friends: "We're past the stage of friends now - we're family. So if one of us was to annoy each other, it would be like 'ugh, it's just my sister'. Do you know what I mean?"

Blonde bombshell Perrie Edwards added: "We're always open... if Leigh-Anne annoys me, I'm like 'Leigh-Anne, babe' - little things like that. But never ever have we argued or anything like that. Even when we do photo shoots and the photographer is like, 'get closer, pretend you like each other', we're like, 'shut up, what do you know?'. It's really annoying!"
