Little Mix: 'It's been a year since we recorded 'Little Me' and we're excited about our new music'

Little Mix are hard at work on their third full-length studio album and they revealed that it has been a year since they were in the booth laying down vocals on their single, 'Little Me'.

The girls, who can be seen posing together in the studio together to the left, posted a message to their official Twitter page this morning (October 8) and told their followers that they've come a long way over the past 12 months, and they're really excited to show off the new material they're creating:

"A year ago we were in the studio recording #LittleMe. Can't wait for yous [sic] to hear what we're working on now!"

The girls also shared a studio update at the beginning of this month in which they reassured fans that they've been paying attention to their suggestions for new music:

"We've been reading all your tweets about the kind of stuff you want to hear on our third album so we hope we're going to make something that you really love and you're proud of. So please keep your studio tips coming in because we love seeing them, and we want to know what you want to hear!"
