'Wings' superstars Little Mix have shared a video message full of Christmas wishes for Great Ormond Street Hospital, which is a global centre of excellence in child healthcare based in London. 

Writing on their official Twitter page this afternoon (December 11), the girls explained that they're proud to have taken part in the video advent calendar as it's such a fantastic hospital and does wonderful things for ill children:

"If you missed our festive message for @greatormondst watch here. Remember to keep checking the advent calendar!"

Upon seeing their tweet, Great Ormond Street Hospital's social media account posted a message of thanks to the beauties, which reads: "@LittleMix Big thanks for tweeting this - and for sending us such a lovely video! - we really appreciate it."

Little Mix, meanwhile, are currently hard at work on their highly anticipated third studio album and recently told reporters that it will be more mature and insightful than their previous records: 

"We've got more writing experience, vocally we're going in even stronger - we've got more to write about - relationships and everything. We're having so much fun at the minute and we love being in the studio so we're just going to make sure it's perfect and release it when we're ready."
