Little Mix have lent their support to World Cancer Day.

The day is taking place this year on February 4 as people across the globe raise awareness of the disease.

UK girl group Little Mix have already got in on the action, with the quartet tweeting a photo today (January 30) of themselves wearing wristbands.

They wrote: "We’re uniting with @CR_UK on #WorldCancerDay to help beat cancer sooner! Join us! #WeWillUnite."

Cancer Research UK replied: "Thanks girls! #WeWillUnite."

The group meanwhile are currently working on the follow-up to their 2013 album 'Salute'.
