Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall on meeting Jesy Nelson: 'It was definitely awe'

Girl group Little Mix were formed on 'The X Factor' back in 2011 and the beauties have now recalled their first impressions of each other in a new interview.

Songstress Jade Thirlwall told Tabloid! magazine in Dubai that when she first met bandmate Jesy Nelson she was in awe of her: "I remember seeing Jesy for the first time thinking, ‘Wow!’."

"I was like, ‘She already looks like a pop star. There’s no way she’s not going through. 100 per cent.’ Not intimidated, but a bit just like, ‘Woah.’ I was just in awe of (her) beauty. I’d never seen anyone that looks like (her) before."

Leigh-Anne Pinnock went onto add that she felt the same as Thirlwall: "I remember I told you [Jesy], that’s exactly how I felt, as well. I was like, ‘Woah.’" Pinnock also told reporters that she was impressed by Perrie Edwards vocals: "I remember hearing Perrie and thinking, ‘This girl’s got chords on her.’ What’s that thing? Pipes! That’s the word."
