Little Mix on album wait: 'We scrapped it and started again'

Little Mix have revealed that they ultimately re-recorded an album because they weren't happy with its sound.

The girl group have been busy over the last year working on the follow-up to 2013's 'Salute'.

However, Jesy Nelson told The Sun that they scrapped an entire record because they weren't pleased with its outcome.

She said: "We've been away a while because we wrote an album, sat with the record label and we thought, 'Nope, it's not good enough'.

"We recorded a whole album but we're perfectionists and knew we could do better. So we scrapped it and started again.

"It was very stressful, it just wasn't happening."

Little Mix meanwhile recently unveiled the track 'Black Magic' from their next record.
