Little Mix star Perrie Edwards' creativity is seemingly so abundant that she records song ideas whilst on the toilet.

The singer told The Metro that she has on her mobile a clip of a tune she conjured up whilst nature called.

The Brit said: "I have an idea on my phone from when I was on the toilet the other day."

Edwards meanwhile said that inspiration comes at opportune moments and not always in the studio, adding:

"You can be there all day and have nothing and go in the next day and write something in 15 minutes before your car arrives.

"So this album, I think we've written a good 1,000 songs. You can write a little section of a song. A full song or it could be s***e."

Little Mix meanwhile are due to release their third album later this year.
