Perrie Edwards hopes women can relate to Zayn Malik split

Little Mix star Perrie Edwards hopes that her recent break-up with Zayn Malik can give some women support.

The singer split from the former One Direction star earlier this year despite being engaged.

Malik reportedly dumped her via text - something, however, that he has denied.

Speaking Fabulous, the Brit said that she hopes their demise can offer some women going through the same thing some solace.

Edwards said: "As difficult as it can be to have your private life plastered all over...social media every day, I guess the one plus side is that it is like a looking glass for other women to look in and relate to.

"I learn new things every day, but I've learned that no matter what life throws at you, you take it day by day."

The singer added in the same interview that she relied on the support of her Little Mix bandmates during her tough times.
