Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards has received burns to her hand and arm after part of her boiler "blew up".

The Brit posted on Twitter that she is "in pain and full of blisters" after the incident.

The burns happened after her boiler's pilot light exploded.

Edwards wrote on Thursday (February 25): "So today I had an accident...and by accident I mean accidentally set myself on fire.

"The pilot light on my boiler blew up and it set my arm/hand on fire. Not a pleasant experience.

"I'm in pain, full of blisters, there's not one hair left on my hand or arm, and it burned the sleeve of my favourite jumper. F*cking nightmare.

"A little advice from me...stay away from fire!"

Edwards also showed off the damage with two photos, which can be viewed below.
