Little Mix's Perrie: 'One bad comment sticks in your head forever'

Little Mix's Perrie Edwards says she gets affected by reading negative comments online.

The singer told the May issue of Cosmopolitan that she still has a complex over her ankles after reading a troll's jibe about "cankles".

Despite reading a lot of positive comments, Edwards admitted that bad ones stick in the mind.

The Brit said: "At the beginning, I used to search 'Little Mix' and 'Perrie' online.

"You can read a thousand lovely comments about yourself and then one bad one sticks in your head forever. It's like being at school with a group of really nasty people.

"Someone once wrote that I had 'cankles,' and now I have issues with my ankles. I think they are the biggest, chunkiest things in the world. If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't talk!"

Bandmate Jesy Nelson said in the same interview that she found it hard to deal with comments about her weight while on the X Factor in 2011.
