Little Mix have no plans for a hiatus

Girl group Little Mix opened the Capital FM Summertime Ball at London's Wembley Stadium yesterday and spoke to press after their set about the future

The band was asked about Jesy Nelson's recent comments, as she told Now magazine that she enjoys spending time away from the spotlight, which led to speculation about their longevity, and they all confessed that a hiatus definitely isn't on the cards for them anytime soon.

Nelson explained: "I feel like that got blown out of context. I was just saying I like going for country walks and we don’t really get to see our partners much so when I get time off, instead of going clubbing, I like going down a country lane!"

When asked straight out if they'll be taking a break, all four girls said "no" and songstress Perrie Edwards added, "I’d like to see her (Jesy Nelson) try."

Earlier in May, the 'Black Magic' hitmakers confessed that they have already begun working on a new album: “Hopefully there’ll be a few surprises on there, I actually cried when I heard a certain person wanted to collaborate with us... I can’t say anything yet in case it doesn’t happen, I don’t want to jinx it.”
