Little Mix have broken an Australian chart record set by the Spice Girls.

The Brits' recent single 'Hair' has now gone platinum in the country, meaning they are the most certified girl group in Australia ever.

They now have 17 singles in the country with certifications - usurping Spice Girls' record of 16.

It has only taken Little Mix four years to break the record, with 'Wings' certified in 2012.

The band's track 'Hair' features on their 2015 album 'Get Weird'.
