Little Mix star Perrie Edwards says the group are aiming to unleash their next album before the turn of the year.

The group only released their third effort 'Get Weird' in November.

However, Edwards told Sugarscape that its follow-up could land before 2017.

She said: "You'll have to wait and see. Hopefully [it will be released] this year.

"We're onto a good thing, so we're just gonna let it happen naturally."

Edwards added that the quartet have concentrated on their fans when making the record's music.

She said: "We're working very hard for them. We feel like we know what our fans like now and what they want to hear and want us to talk about in our music.

"Hopefully we've got it right, 'cos we love them and want to keep them happy."
