Little Mix want Nicki Minaj collaboration: 'If we say it enough it may happen'

'Wings' beauties Little Mix have revealed that they're desperate to get into the studio with rap superstar Nicki Minaj and hope that there's a chance it could move from fantasy to reality in the future.

Member Jesy Nelson told Britain's Daily Star newspaper that they hope if they keep mentioning it, it might eventually be on the cards: "We've been saying for ages that Nicki Minaj is the person we all want to record with. If we say it enough it may happen."

Singer Jade Thirlwall added: 'We always envisage a rapper on our music."

A representative for Minaj has since revealed that a duet could potentially happen in 2014 if their schedules align: "Nicki is busy working on her third solo album right now but she's always keen to maintain her chart presence [and] a Little Mix collab would be a perfect fit for next year."
