Lorde has been confirmed to perform at this year's MuchMusic Video Awards.

The Canadian broadcaster are hosting their annual bash on June 15 and the 17-year-old New Zealander will make her performance debut at the show.

Imagine Dragons have also been added to the ceremony's bill.

Performers last year included the likes of Psy, Demi Lovato and Ed Sheeran.

Lorde meanwhile is due to perform in the UK twice in the coming weeks, with her first slot scheduled for BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Glasgow on May 24.

She will then play a headline show at London's Brixton Academy on June 6.
