Lorde's studio is haunted: 'Ghosts are leaving their ghost hum on everything we record'

'Royals' songstress Lorde has revealed that there have been some spooky happenings in the recording studio she's working in at the moment.

The talented young star took to her official Twitter page earlier this morning (June 30) and explained to her 1.8 million followers that she thinks there might be a ghost in the studio because strange sounds are being picked up on the audio:

"Ghosts in the studio don't want us to record tonight, they leaving their ghost hum on everything. buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz."

Last week, Lorde told London's Evening Standard newspaper that scantily-clad female pop stars aren't a bad influence because there are way worse things going on that youngsters are exposed to: "People should stop worrying about their daughters. I don't see a female without clothing as a terrible influence. There are worse things. Shooting people. Glorifying violence."
