Lorde helps fan to get a date

'Team' songstress Lorde has stepped in to help find one of her fans a date to her upcoming concert in Philadelphia.

She will perform live at The Mann in PA this coming Friday, September 5 and a follower named Matthew Snowden (pictured above left) reached out to her and asked for help in finding someone to accompany him to the show: “@TheSnowbro: Ella please help! If I can't find someone to go with I can't go” this cool dude needs a date for the Philly show guys!"

Upon seeing her public response and willingness to help, Snowden returned to Twitter and told his friends that he was amazed by the gesture and personal approach:

"Think of your favourite artist replying to your tweet and calling you a "cool dude" and that's how I feel right now. My mentions are blowing up at 2am... imagine when everyone wakes up in the morning and sees that tweet."
