Lorde on next album: 'I'm learning so much all the time so it probably will sound really different'

New Zealand-based hitmaker Lorde has enjoyed incredible success with her debut album, 'Pure Heroine', and she has now opened up about what her follow-up offering might sound like.

During a new interview with Billboard, the songstress explained that because she's young and always being influenced by the world around her, the next record she makes is likely to sound different to her debut album:

"For one thing, I'm so young and I'm learning so much about songwriting all the time and about how I want to sound, so I guess the next project is going to sound really different. I'm definitely just at the beginning... just figuring out what I want to say and what I want to convey, so it's going to be a step forward that's for sure."

Lorde, meanwhile, was recently confirmed to perform her song 'Yellow Flicker Beat', which is on the new 'Hunger Games' movie's soundtrack, at the upcoming American Music Awards on November 23 in Los Angeles. Other performers include Taylor Swift, One Direction and 5 Seconds Of Summer.
