Lorde hasn't ruled out the possibility of going into acting.

The singer has forged a reputable career to date through singing, but she told E! that TV and cinema is something that interests her.

However, the 'Royals' star admitted that she isn't too great at being an actress.

Lorde said: "I love films and I love TV, but I don't think I'm very good at acting. But we'll see. Maybe."

In the same interview, the New Zealander also all but ruled out the prospect of working with her good friend Taylor Swift.

She said: "She's amazing and she's very talented, but I feel like the way she writes is very much her voice. It's the same with me.

"We're very kind of singular."
