Lorde debuted brand new music from her forthcoming album at Coachella last night (April 16).

The New Zealand singer-songwriter had also played a secret pre-Coachella show to a selected group of fans lucky enough to hear some of her new material from the new album before anyone else on Friday (April 14). 

Her pre-Coachella show took place at Pappy & Harriet's in Pioneertown, which she announced on Twitter only hours before it was due to take place. Tickets were prieced at a mere $20, so the gig sold out in minutes

It's the first time the 'Royals' hitmaker has performed in over two years. Eager fans were treated to a new track called ‘Sober’.

Lorde's show at the festival included the brand new cut from her upcoming album, ‘Melodrama,’ which is out June 16.
