Louis Tomlinson's "Back To You" sold over 1 million copies

Louis Tomlinson has just released his brand new single, "Miss You," which he performed on the final of X Factor on Saturday night (December 2).

He had previously performed his Steve Aoki collaboration "Just Hold On" on the ITV talent show after the death of his mother, admitting that it was the most difficult moment of his career.

On his new single "Miss You," the 25-year-old singer has revealed that it's about "a time in my life when I was going out partying every night. In hindsight throughout that time I was pretty numb and just going through the motions."

The new song arrives six months after his "Back To You" summer banger, which featured Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals. The track was a global hit, reaching Number One in 37 countries. It was streamed over 220 million times and sold over 1 million copies.

Tomlinson is currently recording his highly anticipated debut solo album, which is due to be released next year.
