Ludacris has been booked for a special gig at Guantanamo Bay.

The rapper will perform at the US Navy base in Cuba on Independence Day (July 4).

However, war-prisoner inmates at the camp won't be able to hear the performance.

Instead, Ludacris is performing for the troops who live there and their families.

The gig will form part of the Freedom Festival at Guantanamo's Windward Ferry Landing.

The concert will take place some miles away from the prisoners.
