Maroon 5 record SNL promos with Sarah Silverman

Maroon 5 join Sarah Silverman, actress and comedienne, as she hosts the second episode of Saturday Night Live's 40th season today (October 4).

Maroon 5 appear on the show for the fifth time in 10 years and, as the promo clips show, are not in awe of the 'I'm F****ing Matt Damon' singer. Adam Levine loves compliments from Silverman but won't return them when nudged to do so. However, the band do harmonise nicely with Silverman on their new track, 'Sarah Silverman'.

Maroon 5 first appeared on SNL on February 21 2004. Levine also hosted the show for the first time in early 2013, when Kendrick Lamar musical-guested.

Silverman was an SNL writer and featured player in the early '90s and has recently won an Emmy for her HBO special.
