Maroon 5's Adam Levine on fellow 'The Voice' coaches: 'I have lifelong friends'

Adam Levine, of Maroon 5 fame, has revealed that he's really glad to have made genuine friends out of his fellow coaches on 'The Voice'.

Speaking to BBC Radio 1's Clara Amfo, the singer explained that there's a real sense of community between them and he's excited to consider Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Shakira, Usher and others to be close friends:

"We all started as singers and musicians, it's a sense of community now, it was like, 'Wow we know each other' when before it was all about music and now we are all friends."

"Everyone is always so busy that you don't get to make friends with your peers. With 'The Voice' I now have these lifelong friends that I communicate with and talk to. I wouldn't have thought I would have been friends with Shakira or Usher, it's crazy."
