Matt Cardle: "James Arthur is deeply unpleasant"

Matt Cardle has had his final say on James Arthur, calling him "deeply unpleasant".

The two former X Factor winners have been locked in a battle of words recently in relation to their fall-out last year.

The disagreement stems from Arthur's claim that all previous male X Factor winners haven't had good enough music to become a success.

Speaking to Gaydio, 2010 X Factor winner Cardle said that 2012 victor Arthur's ego is "off the scale" and that he doesn't think their feud can end anytime soon despite the singer seemingly wanting to put a cap on it all. He said:

"I'm not going to put an end to this once and for all. I don't think there is going to be an end to this. The guy is deeply unpleasant from what I can gather. He has ripped into me in the past. He has been ripping me for about a year now. We had crossed words a year ago, he hasn't dropped it.

"The guy's ego is off the scale and that's all I'll say about him. I have nothing else to say about James Arthur."

Cardle meanwhile will release new album 'Porcelain' on Monday (October 28) whilst Arthur will unleash his self-titled debut on November 4.
