'Glee' star Matthew Morrison on the show's final scenes: 'There were so many tears'

Superstar Matthew Morrison and the cast of 'Glee' recently wrapped up filming for 'Glee' and he has opened up about what it was like to end the programme after a 7-year run.

Speaking to E! Online about filming the last scenes for the show's finale, the actor and singer admitted that it was incredibly emotional and he still finds it hard to talk about: "It was a tough day. I'm not going to cry now because I kind of got it all out, but it was a really tough day."

He was given the honour of singing the closing song on 'Glee' and added that it was an amazing way to wrap up seven wonderful and challenging years:

"It was a beautiful send-off. But it was tough. I was singing to all the kids and Amber Riley starts crying and I'm like, 'Come on, don't do this to me right now.' And then Lea Michele starts crying and then Darren Criss and Chris Colfer. There were a lot of hugs and a lot of tears. It's been an amazing almost seven years."
