Matthew Morrison dedicates song to Cory Monteith

Matthew Morrison paid tribute to late Glee colleague Cory Monteith last night (July 14) whilst performing live.

As previously reported, the entertainment world recoiled in shock on Sunday after news broke that the 31-year-old, who played the character Finn Hudson in the hit TV show, had passed away.

He was found dead in a hotel room in Vancouver, Canada, with a post-mortem due to take place today (July 15).

According to Us Weekly, Matthew Morrison dedicated the song 'What I Did For Love' to Monteith whilst performing in New York City last night.

He also reportedly called his co-star a "beautiful person".

A rep for Monteith's girlfriend Lea Michele meanwhile said in statement: "We ask that everyone kindly respect Lea's privacy during this devastating time."
