McBusted have enlisted the help of All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth as they work on new music.

The pop-rock supergroup are currently working towards making an album together after forming last year for live shows.

It seems they are interested in taking outside writers and producers on board, with Gaskarth recently on hand to work with McBusted.

He tweeted on Tuesday (August 19): "Had a blast working with the @mcbusted dudes today! Good vibes all around.

"Really enjoying getting to write for some other bands / artists. Takes you out of your comfort zone, keeps things fresh! I feel ALIVE (erect)."

Gaskarth comes fresh from co-writing a number of songs for 5 Seconds of Summer's debut album, which was released earlier this year.
