McFly bassist Dougie Poynter has put pen to paper on a modelling deal.

The musician will team up with Storm Management, who also deal with the likes of Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne.

The company said in a statement to Harper's Bazaar:

"We are really excited to be working with Dougie Poynter through our Storm Artists division. The talent division at Storm also works with A-list names from the world of film and music to create exciting opportunities within the fashion industry. Dougie will join a prestigious client roster which includes other bands, DJs and musicians."

Poynter has history outwith of music having created the fashion line Saint Kidd.

The bass player meanwhile is due to head out on the road for a plethora of dates this summer with McFly/Busted hybrid McBusted.
