Tom Fletcher has won the Celebrity Dad of the Year prize.

The McFly man became a father for the first time in March alongside wife Giovanna, who gave birth to baby Buzz.

He has proved himself to be a doting dad by spending quality time with the child and sharing his joy online.

Today (June 12) the singer and guitarist was confirmed as 2014 Celebrity Dad of the Year ahead of Father's Day on Sunday (June 15).

He takes over from previous winner Mo Farah, whilst Gary Barlow picked up the award in 2012.
