McFly members fall ill and reschedule tour

McFly are set to kick off their extensive arena tour next month, but have been plagued by setbacks after two of the band's members, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter, recently fell ill.

An official statement from the 'Party Girl' pop rockers read:

"Due to illnesses in the band Mcfly have had to move the first three dates of their forthcoming arena tour to the end. They apologise for any inconvenience and hope their fans are understanding of the situation"

Tom Fletcher also took matters into his own hands and wrote to his fans through Twitter, explaining:

"Sorry guys! They are NOT cancelled, just moved! Details on how to exchange/refund tickets will be released early next week."

"I'm quarantining myself from the sickies so I don't catch their germs. Yuck! Tour is still gonna kick ass!!!!"

The affected dates are March 12, 13 and 14 where the band was scheduled to perform in Nottingham, Belfast and Dublin respectively, but these shows will still go ahead and have been moved to "the end". Their final 'Above The Noise' gig was confirmed as April 1 at Wembley Arena so the rescheduled ones will now fall after this date.
