McFly on their new music: 'We've developed a new style'

Pop-rockers McFly have revealed that they can't wait to unveil some of their new music because it has a different style and will surprise their fans.

Speaking about working on their forthcoming new album, the group explained to Britain's Daily Star newspaper that there's a definite sound progression from their last offering: "We've got so many good songs."

"We thought we had two or three singles ages ago but we've developed a new style and a whole new set of songs since then. It's a progression from the last album. We're trying to be ourselves and let it happen naturally."

Member Harry Judd also explained that the lads are very grounded and expect to still be making music 20 years from now: "We're all normal guys and there's no massive egos. Tom and Danny should have massive egos but they don't. Our insecurities keep us normal. I say maybe when we're 50 or 60 we'll call it a day and they're like, 'No, we'll carry on'."
