Danny Jones, of McFly fame, has revealed his admiration for One Direction because of the way the members treat their girlfriends and female fans.

The 'All About You' group recently confirmed that the heartthrobs recorded a song they wrote for their upcoming new album and Jones told Digital Spy that along with being successful at music, they're also great guys:

"They're pretty switched on. They look after their money, they look after their women. They're lovely guys, they're down to earth. It's amazing how they've gripped the nation."

Jones also spoke about the relationship he has with his own band, adding: "The connection that me and the three guys have is unbelievable. It's like musical family. It's a connection you don't have with your fiancée, you don't have with your family, you can only have it with your band."
