McFly’s Harry Judd: “Tom Fletcher used to be hard to work with”

Drummer for band McFly Harry Judd has opened up about his struggles to get on with singer Tom Fletcher, but also how things changed after Fletcher was diagnosed as bipolar.

Fletcher revealed last year that he had been diagnosed with the mental disorder two years prior, saying the news came as “a massive relief”. And it turns out that Fletcher wasn’t the only one who felt that way about the diagnosis.

Talking to the Daily Star, Judd said of Fletcher: “He used to be hard to work with. It turns out he had bipolar which was a huge relief to find out about."

Having been through such struggles together over the past ten years, Judd reckons that the bond they share is stronger than ever and shows no sign of breaking down.

Judd said: “I believe that we’ll be a band when we’re 50.”
