Singer Tom Fletcher, of McFly fame, has revealed that he is expecting his first baby with wife Giovanna Falcone in an adorable Halloween-themed video. 

Writing on his official Twitter page earlier this morning (October 30), the frontman explained that they wanted to make the announcement in a festive way: "Me and @mrsgifletcher have some rather exciting news to share with you..."

His wife added: "Sometimes the best way to share something is with a pumpkin... Some Fletcher news for you. ;-) xx"

Following the well wishes sent in by fans of the band, Fletcher returned to the social networking site and added: "Thank you very much for all the lovely messages. We couldn't hide it any longer...literally! ;) Ah, thanks very much for the trend folks. Who's the (soon to be) Daddy! ;)"

Fletcher and Falcone got married in May 2012 and celebrated their first wedding anniversary earlier this year.
