McBusted add nine new dates to UK tour

McBusted have augmented their forthcoming UK tour with a series of new dates.

The pop supergroup, who are comprised of McFly and Busted's Matt Willis and James Bourne, announced their formation earlier this week.

They also confirmed a number of UK arena dates due to take place in May and June next year.

Tickets went on general sale from this morning (November 15) but they confirmed on ITV's Daybreak that six new shows have been added to the schedule.

The first batch of extra dates will take place in Glasgow, Bournemouth, London, Birmingham, Cardiff and Manchester.

They have since confirmed another three new shows in London, Glasgow and Sheffield due to popularity.

The group are expected to mine the two bands' respective back catalogues for their live set.

They are also due to play live at Children In Need tonight (November 15) in London.

The nine new McBusted dates meanwhile are as follows:

  • April 17 Glasgow, Hydro
  • April 22 Bournemouth, BIC
  • April 24 London, O2 Arena (added in today's second announcement)
  • April 26 London, O2 Arena
  • May 2 Birmingham, LG Arena
  • May 7 Cardiff, Motorpoint Arena
  • May 10 Manchester, Phones 4U Arena
  • May 16 Glasgow, Hydro (added in today's second announcement)
  • May 19 Sheffield, Motorpoint Arena (added in today's second announcement)
