The most rock ‘n’ roll night in the music calendar will return to London’s iconic O2 Academy Brixton on 15 February 2017, where the who’s who of music and film will come together to celebrate the very best moments of the past 12 months. Early bird tickets for the awards ceremony are on sale now until 08 December, at a one-off price of £24.99. Music fans can cast their votes now for who they would like to see shortlisted for categories including ‘Best British Band’, ‘Best Female Artist’ and ‘Best Film’. Last year saw over 800,000 votes cast in the lead-up to the awards, with Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, Dave Grohl and The Libertines all winning a gong. 2016 has been a big year for music and already hotly tipped for multiple nominations are: Radiohead, The 1975, Lady Gaga, The Last Shadow Puppets, Blossoms, David Bowie, Skepta, Tove Lo, Rihanna and more – all of whom have released albums this year. Innovation Award winners Bring Me The Horizon performed a headline-grabbing rock ‘n’ roll set, trashing Coldplay’s table, and Inspiration Award winner Yoko Ono attended the ceremony on the eve of her 83rd birthday to collect her award in person.
