DeeDee Loves Me is a singer songwriter, pop culture sponge and genuine West End Girl – born and raised in London. She has been writing hook-laden, unashamedly brash, gigantic pop songs pretty much all her life.
 
It’s not every pupil that reduces their primary school teacher to tears: “We were given the task of writing a poem for a teacher who was leaving. I wrote something along the lines of "Dear Miss Taylor, you were never a failure…" I read it out and it made her cry”. It was after that moment that DeeDee realised “maybe this is my calling!?” – she began setting her words to music and a new pop star was born.
 
Fast forward to 2013, and DeeDee is ensconced in regular writing and recording sessions with producer Ian Masterson (Dannii Minogue/Kylie, Pet Shop Boys) – a fruitful pop partnership that has cemented DeeDee’s flair for creating huge songs, dripping in attitude. DeeDee takes her cue from her musical icons – daydreaming that she might be the lovechild of Ziggy Stardust and Natalie Wood, raised on a diet of Blondie, Prince, Madonna and Queen. Her music fills the gaps between the likes of Icona Pop, Marina and the Diamonds, Chvrches, Sky Ferreira, Ilia Darlin and Sia.
 
DeeDee’s fantastic debut EP ‘Everybody’s Out To Get Me’ is released on September 30th, and accompanied by an amazing video for the lead track (see below).
