MUSIC EXTRAVAGANZA WITH CHARITYSTARS FEATURING ELVIS PRESLEY, THE BEATLES AND MANY MORE

London, September 07, 2015 – CharityStars, Britain’s leading online charity marketplace, has teamed up with Music Therapy, which supports the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, to auction off an array of music items to help raise funds for those in need.

There are a host of items available from memorabilia right through to concert tickets from modern-day musicians and musical legends of old.

CharityStars has an incredibly rare piece of memorabilia available from world-famous band The Beatles. It is a framed Gold Disc, which was presented to Handleman Records for sales of 500,000 records of the band’s fifth studio album Help!

Or if ‘The King’ is more your thing, CharityStars has an original Elvis Golden Records Volume 2, which was signed by the international superstar on 26 June 1977 in Indianapolis, USA. The original LP is still in the sleeve and is accompanied by the Gold Disc, both perfectly framed.

Also on offer are tickets to two fantastic shows. The first is two tickets for Leon Bridges’ sold-out show at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London on 29 September. Leon is an American gospel and soul singer who performs 1950s and ’60s-style soul music. As a memento from the concert, the lucky winner will also receive a signed copy of Leon’s album.

And there are are four pairs of tickets to see 2008 X Factor winner Alexandra Burke. The British artist, who has had three UK Number Ones, will be performing at The Jazz Café in London on 18 September.

Proceeds from all these auctions will support Music Therapy, an initiative that uses music to help support those suffering, and plans to use various genres in the form of live music events and auctions, involving celebrity musicians and DJs all for the benefit of charity.

These particular auctions will support the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which helps to provide world-class care for cancer patients, and to support the hospital’s pioneering work in cancer research and education.
