Metallica have emerged as the bookies' favourite to headline this year's Glastonbury Festival.

The Worthy Farm event is due take place this year between June 25 and June 29 and Arcade Fire have already been confirmed as one of the day's headliners.

Bookmakers have been offering odds on who they think will be the other headliners and Paddy Power have installed US rock titans Metallica as their 5/4 favourite.

Prince meanwhile has the same odds, but festival organiser Emily Eavis has already confirmed that he won't be playing.

Other names in the mix include Kasabian (5/1), Fleetwood Mac (9/1) and Elbow (10/1).

Among the other names who have already been confirmed to play are Lily Allen, Lana Del Rey and Disclosure.
