Yesterday, My Chemical Romance caused quite a stir online after uploading a mysterious video and they have now addressed the speculation. 

The short clip shows a flag waving in the breeze while the piano introduction to 'Welcome to the Black Parade' plays, and at the end of the footage the date September 23, 2016 is displayed (a month before the 10-year anniversary of 'The Black Parade' album). 

The band has now posted a statement to Facebook, in which they explain that a reunion, which most people assumed might be the case, is not on the cards:

"We've been really touched and blown away by the response to the teaser trailer. We are not touring and there is no reunion planned - only a release for the anniversary of The Black Parade. Thanks so much for continuing to keep MCR in your minds and in your hearts."
